The Journey Home

While traveling, I would meet a variety of people - such as these two
villagers on the road and, the more well-to-do, Mr. and Mrs. David Captchet

Occasionally, I would meet other foreigners, like myself, such as this Lebanese
family in Nkong Samba which I stayed with briefly. The son, George Salem
was a natural at motorcycling.

Whenever I paused in a rural populated area
a great deal of attention would be paid me
and my bike - sign language could only go
so far in explaining my presence there.
