villagers I rented the canoe from.On the road again, when I stopped in one of the villages
along the way I met Ben, a river guide. He arranged for a day long canoe
trip up the Cross River for me.

Continuing my journey, I passed some farmers preparing
to plant the cassava root crop.
These were typical scenes as I headed north towards Jos.
